MISS STEP is a heartfelt dance musical comedy featuring live aerobics and a diverse trans/non-binary cast! This exuberant and joyous show is a classic underdog story featuring one ordinary woman who goes to extraordinary lengths to reconnect with a father she never knew. MISS STEP defies expectations, dazzling audiences with a cast of quirky, loveable characters and an unforgettably catchy ‘80s pop score.

DEVELOPMENT HISTORY

This musical has been in development since 2018 with workshops and residencies at Village Theatre, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, and MCC Theater, with additional support from Musical Theater Factory, Mitten Lab, and the Bret Adams and Paul Reisch Foundation. Since 2023, we have been collaborating with MCC to bring this piece to New York audiences.

MISS STEP is currently working towards an off-Broadway production.
